What a treat to have the opportunity to learn from growth mindset expert, Alexandra Eidens! Alexandra is Founder and CEO of Big Life Journal, a world traveler and mom to two young boys. As Alexandra describes, when you identify who you want to be, claim that to the world, and define what you believe in, you actually have the power to make it become your reality. The conversation with my long-time mentor and friend, Mark Walton, continues in this Part 2 episode. Together we talk about the importance of curiousity and the power of a common set of values. In this week's podcast, I am talking to Omar Khan, a leader in the financial services industry and co-owner of Theta Trading, a financial education company. As Omar says of financial independence: "It's about putting yourself in a position to be able to own your own time and do what you want to do". In our conversation we touch on the topics of financial literacy, how buying stuff doesn't buy fulfillment, and the relationship between discipline and regret.
